DESCRIPTION AND TYPE:
"MAGO'" whose name derives from the contraction of the company name, has always been considered a wine made to amaze. The first bubble of Corvina Veronese made in Valpolicella from a project of more than 10 years ago, took shape in the vintage 2012. The goddess is that of a territorial rosè, not trivial, that expresses a new dimension of Corvina in a land dedicated to red wines.
From the most important particles of the Massimago; summer, arranged on terraces in the high hills, on calcareous rock white ground between 300 and 350 s.l.m. The 100% native varieties of Valpolicella are produced here following the dictates of the 100% organic cultivation: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Processing in the vineyard and pruning are exclusively manual. The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes at the beginning of September, and immediately brought to the vinification phase.
The grapes are de-stemmed and transferred to a steel tank for a brief maceration of about one night (8 - 10 hours). The pink must is fermented in small tanks at a controlled temperature.
The wine is transferred to a pressurized tank (autoclave) for foaming according to the canons of the Martinotti method (Charmat).
Refiniment: for 8 months before bottling.
Bright pink color with coppery and orange reflections in aging.
