DESCRIPTION AND TYPE:
The white Passito of Veneto IGT - Indicazione Geografica Tipica is a sweet wine with a golden yellow color produced in the classic Valpolicella in Veneto. The vines are used as Garganega withered for 4 months.
The selection of the best grapes is still done manually and, respecting the tradition, wooden crates and gratings are still used.The grapes are left to dry until January / February in dry and well-ventilated rooms with periodic monitoring of the state of health of the grapes. The pressing takes place, depending on the year, at the end of January or beginning of February.
Refiniment: for 40 days before bottling.
At sight it has a golden yellow color with amber reflections.
It has an intense, noble and fruity bouquet.
The taste is velvety, sweet with a lot of composure, round and persistent taste with hints of almond and vanilla.
13 - 16° C.
Dessert wine, can also be enjoyed alone, in the evenings in the company of friends.
