Walls and culture blend in the wine made by Zymè winery. What makes this company special is the quarry on which it stands, in which its wine ages, year after year. The southern spurs of the Lessini Mountains form the boundary for the Valpolicella area, to which Zymé fully belongs. This identity is reflected by its wines.
Igp Bianco Veneto, Il pollice and la Reverie and, Valpolicella classico superiore, Oseleta, Amarone Classico della Valpolicella, Amarone Riserva La Mattonara, 602020 Cabernet, Kairos, Harlequin, Metodo Classico, Tranaltri, Grappa Harlequin, Grappa Amarone Riserva, and Extra virgin Olive Oil make up the range.
Situated in the very heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, the ancient sandstone quarry dates back to the 15th century and proves the extremely strong bond between Zyme's philosophy and local identity. The rich terrain variety, from San Pietro in Cariano to San Martino Buon Albergo, plus Lavagno, caters for the winemaker's assorted output.
Production sustainability and excellent production underline the company's mission. Zymè, which means "yeast", is also open to visitors. You can book sampling sessions on their website.
